Agora Restaurant is provided under the legal identity AGORA RESTAURANT INC. This Privacy Policy explains the information handled by the Agora Restaurant Android application and the choices available to users.
1. Scope
This policy applies to information entered into or stored by the Agora Restaurant app on the user’s Android device.
2. Order-plan information
The app provides a local order-plan form. The following information can be handled when a user saves an order plan:
- Name — required. Used to identify whose local order plan is being saved.
- Phone number — required. Stored with the local order-plan record.
- Email address — optional. Stored only when the user enters it.
- Fulfilment method — required. The available choices are Pickup or Dine at restaurant.
- Selected menu items — required through the cart. Stored with the order plan.
- Quantities — required through the cart. Stored with each selected item.
- Chosen item option or finish — stored with each cart item.
- Option price adjustment — stored when an option changes the estimated item price.
- Per-item kitchen note — optional. Stored only when entered.
- Non-card payment method — required. The app stores only Pay at Pickup or Pay at Restaurant as applicable.
- Overall order note — optional. Stored only when entered.
- Estimated total — calculated by the app from the selected items, quantities and option price adjustments and stored with the local order plan.
3. Table-plan information
The app provides a local table-plan form. The following information can be handled when a user saves a table plan:
- Name — required.
- Phone number — required.
- Email address — optional.
- Reservation date — required.
- Reservation time — required.
- Party size — required.
- Dining note — optional.
These details are used only to preserve the table plan and local history on the device.
4. Other local app data
The app may also store cart contents, favourite dish identifiers, recently viewed dish identifiers, locally saved order-plan history and locally saved table-plan history.
5. Storage and transmission
The information described above is stored locally using Android SharedPreferences. Saved order-plan and table-plan information remains on the user’s device. The app does not transmit that information to the restaurant, AGORA RESTAURANT INC, the developer, or an external server. Wording such as “Order details received by the app,” “Reservation details received by the app,” or “Saved locally on this device” describes only a local app/device status and is not a restaurant confirmation.
6. Retention
Locally stored information remains on the device until the user deletes an individual saved order or table-plan entry, uses the in-app Delete all local data control, clears the app’s storage through Android settings, or uninstalls the app. Local order and table-plan history is limited by the app to the most recent stored records.
7. Deletion and user choices
Users can remove individual local history entries where the app provides that action. The Privacy Policy screen includes a Delete all local data control that removes cart contents, favourites, recently viewed items, locally saved order plans and locally saved table plans. Users can also clear app storage or uninstall the app through Android.
8. Payments
The app does not process online card payments. It does not collect or store full payment-card numbers, CVV or CVC codes, card PINs, online-banking credentials or other raw payment credentials. Only the applicable non-card choice, such as Pay at Pickup or Pay at Restaurant, can be stored with a local order plan.
9. Automatically collected information and permissions
The app does not declare runtime permissions in its Android manifest. It does not use location, camera, microphone, media access or notification permissions. The app does not create user accounts and does not use authentication.
10. Internet, external services and third parties
The app’s core catalogue images are bundled locally. The app does not use backend servers, Firebase, analytics, advertising SDKs, cloud databases, remote APIs, third-party image-loading services or a payment gateway. Internet access is not required for the core catalogue and locally stored planning features.
11. Contact action
The Contact Us screen can open an installed email application when the user chooses the email action. The app does not silently send email, and it does not attach locally saved order or table-plan information to that action. The email application is external to Agora Restaurant and is governed by its own terms and privacy practices.
12. Data sharing
Because order-plan, table-plan, cart, favourites and history information is stored locally and is not transmitted by the app, the app does not share that locally stored information with the restaurant, the developer or an external server.
13. Security limitations
Agora Restaurant uses Android’s application storage mechanisms for local app data. No software or storage method can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect access to their device and use Android device-security features appropriate to their needs.
14. Children’s privacy
Agora Restaurant is a general restaurant dining companion and is not designed to create accounts or profiles for children. The app does not knowingly operate a backend service that collects children’s personal information.
15. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app’s implemented features, local-storage behavior or legal requirements change. An updated effective date should accompany material revisions.
